THE LEVEL OF FREEDOM PERCEİVED BY WORKİNG INDİVİDUALS İN THEİR LEİSURE TİME

The aim of this study is to examine the level of freedom perceived by individuals working in public and private sectors in leisure time. In this quantitative study, the survey model was adopted. While the population of the study consists of individuals working in public institutions and private sector, the sample group consists of public institutions and private sector employees in Uşak Central district. The sampling group determined by probabilistic simple random sampling method consists of 382 people. The sampling group, which was determined by probabilistic simple random sampling method, consists of 382 people. Independent sample test (T-test) and one-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA) tests were applied to the normally distributed data. The findings were evaluated at p<.05 significance level. While the level of freedom perceived by the participants in leisure time does not show statistically significant difference according to gender, marital status and the institution where they work, it shows significant difference according to the variables of doing sports and age. It is important for organizations to encourage their employees to do sports in order to work efficiently.
