INVESTITATION OF SOME OF PHYSİCAL FITNESS OF LEVEL FOR TABLE TENNIS ATHLETES PARTICIPATING IN EDUCATIONAL PLAYS

Aim of this study; examine some physical fitness levels of table tennis players participating in educational games. İn the this practice with participants 16 male and 14 female students between the ages of 13-14, they are studying at Kızılören School in Kayseri-İncesu district. While the experimental group participated in educational games and table tennis training three days a week for eight weeks, the control group only participated in table tennis training. In the pre-test measurements were taken, body weight, balance, agility and disc touch test measurements. Eight weeks later, were taken posttest measurements of the experimental and control groups. This study used to SPSS 22 for statistic analysis. After founded of data was used to compare independent groups Independent sample t test and was used for compare dependent groups to paired sample t test. Significance level was determined as with beetwen (p<0,00- 0.05). According to the post-test measurement results between the experimental and control groups, there was a statistically significant difference in body weight and balance values in the experimental group (p<0.05), while a significant difference was observed in the control group in the post-test measurements of touching the disc. There was a statistically significant difference in body weight values in the pre-post test measurements between the groups (p<0.05). It was observed that participation in educational games had positive effects on balance and body weight values in children aged 13-14. It is recommended that physical education classes be increased in schools and participation in educational game activities should be increased and educational game activities should be increased in cooperation with the municipality, school and youth sports directorate
