Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the physical education and game lesson proficiency levels of the classroom teachers who conduct the physical education and game lessons. Quantitative research design was used as a method in the research, and descriptive survey model was used as a research model. The sample group of the study consisted of 97 participants from the universe who filled out our questionnaires/scales. Data were collected face to face. Personal information form and 'Physical Education Teacher Efficiency Scale' developed by Kara (2007) were used as data collection tools. SPSS 26.0 package program was used in the analysis of the data obtained from the scale. Normally distributed data were obtained using the Independent Samples T-test and parametric tests. One-way ANOVA analysis was performed to compare independent groups. As a result of the research; No significant difference was found in the scale total score and sub-dimensions in terms of the physical education course proficiency levels of the classroom teachers at medium level and the different demographic variables of the classroom teachers (p>0.05).
