This study is a systematic literature review aimed at examining the effects of physical activity participation on the physical, mental, and social health of individuals with disabilities. The research found that physical activity provides various physical benefits for disabled individuals, such as increased muscle strength, improved mobility, and reduced risk of chronic diseases. Additionally, physical activity has shown positive effects in alleviating mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety, and in enhancing individuals' self-confidence. In terms of social participation and quality of life, physical activity strengthens social connections among disabled individuals and reduces social isolation. This study emphasizes the importance of community-based programs, adapted sports facilities, and awareness campaigns to increase participation in physical activity for individuals with disabilities. Future research is recommended to focus on the barriers to physical activity participation and the effectiveness of adapted programs for disabled individuals.
