EVALUATİON OF SCHOOL SPORTS ORGANİZATİONS FROM THE PERSPECTİVE OF SCHOOL SPORTS UNİT PERSONNEL OF THE PROVİNCİAL DİRECTORATE OF YOUTH AND SPORTS

The aim of this study is to evaluate school sports organizations from the perspective of the personnel of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports School Sports Unit, which is one of the stakeholders providing school sports organizations. In the research, the interview method, which is one of the qualitative research data collection techniques, was used in order to evaluate the opinions of the Kahramanmaraş Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports School Sports Unit personnel working in school sports organizations regarding school sports activities. The research method was qualitative research and the case study method was adopted as the design. The interview questions form was used as the data collection tool. The participant group was formed by the personnel of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports School Sports Unit who participated in school sports activities organized in Kahramanmaraş province in the 2023-2024 academic year. Five (5) questions were created in the research to evaluate school sports organizations from the perspective of the stakeholders providing school sports organizations. The questions cover the stakeholders' perspective on school sports, their relevant opinions and suggestions. As a result of the analyzes, the perspective of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports School Sports Unit personnel on school sports was determined. In general, the results were found to be lack of coordination in planning, necessary documents not arriving on time or incomplete, lack of communication with unit employees, teachers on duty not being considered on leave, inadequate halls and facilities, inadequate materials, and lack of medical personnel.
