Abstract

Especially lately, the significance of regular physical activity has increased in preventing increasing diseases in individuals due to obesity. School-age students need to have regular physical activity habits spend their lives healthy. Based on this, this study aimed to examine the physical activity and emotional control status of eighth grade students in terms of some variables. This work the relational scanning method. 196 women and 175 men with Myage = 14.466 ± 0.57027 joın in the study. In research, Physical Activity Scale for Children and also Courtauld Emotion Control Scale were used as datum picking tools. In analyzing the research data, identity analyses, as well as Ttest,analysis of varience and correlation techniques made of to find the direction of also the level of the relationship. In conclusion findings get in the research, it was found it is important difference in the participants' physical activity levels in terms of gender and active sports participation variables, but there was no important difference in terms of emotional control grade. In addition, was found to be no importance difference in the income status variable of participants in both physical activity and emotional control situations. In addition, correlation analysis reported that there was no relation  among physical activity and emotional control grade. In conclusion of this research, happened found that 8th grade students' join in physical activity didn’t have a direct relationship with their emotional control status, but it had an effect on increasing physical activity levels in active sports participation and gender variables.
