About the Journal

The Journal of Physical Education, Sports, Health, and Effort, launched in 2022, is a national, peer-reviewed, scientific, and electronic journal that publishes original research and review articles contributing to the field of Sports Sciences. It falls under the scope of Article 2b for associate professorship applications. Except for special issues, the journal is published four times a year (March, June, October, and December).

In line with its objectives, the journal focuses on studies addressing topics within all areas included in the Basic Field of Sports Sciences.

Manuscripts submitted for publication may be written in Turkish or English. Articles submitted to the journal must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions must comply with the journal's author guidelines and be submitted via the website (www.bessedjournal.com) to initiate the publication process.

The Journal of Physical Education, Sports, Health, and Effort employs a double-blind peer review process, in which both the authors' and reviewers' identities are concealed. For an article to be accepted for publication, it must receive positive evaluations from at least two reviewers.

Accepted manuscripts undergo the following processes: plagiarism check, reference formatting, citation and in-text reference verification, layout and typesetting, assignment of a DOI number, and early view publication.

Authors whose articles are accepted for publication are considered to have transferred the publication rights to the Journal of Physical Education, Sports, Health, and Effort.

The journal provides immediate open access to the content of all published research.

In accordance with its publishing ethics, the Journal of Physical Education, Sports, Health, and Effort requires all articles that have passed the double-blind review process to undergo plagiarism screening in order to ensure the integrity of the publication.
